Lance Turner, Contractor
Lance Turner began his over twenty years in construction with the companies Pankow, Kewitt, and Hensel & Phelps. As owner and operator of Top Notch Builders, Lance has provided general contracting and construction services throughout California. Lance’s substantial skills allow TGC to provide services in ground-up residential and commercial construction, exterior and interior enhancements, and customized remodels. Top Notch has successfully completed projects for the City of Oakland, Allen Temple and McGee Baptist churches, and many residential property owners. The talents of Lance Turner help to make TGC a demand among many clients.
Fred MacKay, Contractor
As owner and operator of MacKay Professional Building & Consulting Services, Fred MacKay brings over thirty years of expertise in general contracting, construction, management, and property maintenance. He began his building career with Ridgemont Development and Capital Pacific Homes. Fred’s prominent reputation of workmanship and professionalism surpasses his contemporaries and manifests in his style of negotiation, coordination, and completion of multi-crew projects such as room-specific remodels, exterior enhancements, and ground-up construction. Additionally, MacKay’s background and skills allow TGC to provide single and multi-unit property maintenance at affordable prices and uncompromising service. MacKay’s clients include McCulley, the cities of Oakland and Pittsburg, Paradise Baptist Church, the Department of Housing and Urban Development, Marlington Corporation, and Great Western Bank.
LaGon Turner, Contractor
LaGon Turner has over ten years of experience in remodeling and property maintenance as owner and operator of One Touch Property Maintenance. LaGon specializes in room-specific remodels, particularly kitchens and bathrooms, but has expertise in all modes of residential and commercial rehabilitation and renovation. He has successfully performed environmental services for multi-unit commercial properties, as well as maintenance and management projects. Clients of One Touch include the City of Oakland, Chevy’s restaurant, Oakland Community Housing, and the Oakland Unified School District. Kenneth Houston, Business Unit
Kenneth Houston has made his mark as a successful business leader throughout the Greater Bay Area. His formal education in mechanical, architectural, and engineering coupled with his experience in detail plumbing has led to his success in rehabbing over thirty-six residential homes, multi-unit commercial units, and two ground-up developments. The past twenty-years has allowed Kenneth the opportunity to work with leading Bay Area contractors in establishing himself as a professional, competent, and reliable Project Coordinator. His oversight in this capacity has included design development, rough carpentry, and execution of detail plumbing installation, which includes; loop systems, silver brazing, hot and cold plumbing, gas lines, and underground plumbing. His projects include: San Francisco Federal Building, Emery Bay Apartments, Kaiser Medical Center, Kaiser Medical Center Parking Garages, Clock Tower, and the Delancey Street Project.

As the leader of our Business Unit, Maurice Stevenson has over eighteen years of experience in Sales, Management, and Business Development. His extensive background in Corporate Placement, Financial Settlement, and Debt Management has afforded him the ability to negotiate contracts in our competitive Bay Area market and assist our clients with budgetary options to accommodate their construction needs.
